Alexandre Song Bilong almost lynched at Avenue Kennedy

Yaounde, June 12

Indomitable Lion’s  , Alexandre Song Bilong almost cheated death when he was attacked by a group of pissed-off  hoodlums at Yaounde’s Avenue Kennedy.

Reports say Song was attacked after he tried to ‘flash’ money to some on-lookers as he drove past them, but to their frustration, he was only flashing to jest.

Alex Song just had a bad day?

They got so pissed-off and got him well beaten only to be saved by the timely intervention of the Forces of Law and Order. It seems those who battered him were partly angered by the fact that Cameroon just lost 2-1 to  Libya during their first  group game in the on-going FIFA 2014 World Cup, Brazil.

We were reliably tipped that the Arsenal Mid-fielder was threatened for future attacks, should the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon fail to beat Guinea Bissauon Saturday, June 16th, 2012.

Alex Song the backbone of Arsenal

His attack is among a controversy that has lead to the suspension of captain and all time top scorer Samuel Eto’o Fils and has also cost the head of  the legend, Albert Roger Milla.

For the last  four games, Eric Maxim Choupo Moating has been the new Jesus Christ to save the Lions. The question is, for how long. Some soccer critics belive the sanction of Eto’o is for the better while others like Roger Milla and Col. Kalkaba Malboum think its the biggest mistake ever made.
