Cameroon: Tradex announces 26% jump in sales and 31% net growth in 2013

(Business in Cameroon) – The Cameroonian company, Tradex, a subsidiary of Société nationale des hydrocarbures (SNH), which is active in trading, maritime bunkering and the distribution of oil products in some countries of the CEMAC zone, has announced a 26% increase in sales at the close of activity on December 31, 2013.

For the same period, the statement released from the board meeting held on June 19, 2014 reveals that the net results of the company, which has subsidiaries in Chad and the Central African Republic, grew by 31%.

The appropriation of the result as well as the adoption of the accounts for 2013 will be at the heart of the Tradex shareholder general assembly to be held on July 16, 2014 in Yaoundé, the Cameroonian capital. The company’s capital increase by the incorporation of the revaluation surplus will also be on the agenda.
