Cameroon have complained to Caf against the DR Congo following their shocking 1-0 loss at home in Garoua on August 26 to the local Leopards in the 2014 African Nations Championship qualifying playoff.

The Cameroon Football Federation says the Congolese players came for the encounter without their passports and licences to prove they were really home-based players, a prerequisite to participate in the tournament.

While waiting for Caf’s ruling, the Cameroon team will face DR Congo on Friday August 30 in Lubumbashi for the return leg.

The local Indomitable Lions will be doing without their Coton Sport players who will be engaged in the Caf Champions League clash against Angola’s Recreativo Libolo this weekend.

The winner on aggregate will qualify to the finals of the African Nations Championship set for January next year.
