Sundance seals accord with Cameroon

Sundance Resources and its strategic partner, China’s Hanlong Group, have signed an agreement with the Cameroon government; paving the way for the mining conglomerate to begin exploitation of iron ore in the country.

It comes three days after the Republic of the Congo gave the miners the green light to proceed with their proposed project, which straddles its border with Cameroon.

Sundance has a 90 per cent stake in Cameroon Iron Ore Company which has estimated reserves of 2.2 million tonnes of iron ore.
