SAMUEL ETO’O,ALEXANDRE SONG AWAIT FECAFOOT VERDICT

Except Assou Ekotto, all players summoned by the disciplinary Committee of Cameroon Football Federation answered present, friday 24th,june. Indomitable Lion’s captain Samuel Eto’o and Arsenal’s midfielder Alex Song had respected the call which many believe is an attempt to solving the problems plaguing the Indomitable Lions.

Under the auspices of the Vice President of Fecafoot Atangana Nkoa, reports from Daily Newspaper Quotidien Mutation says Assou Ekotto had sent his medical reports which indicates he was receiving treatment alongside 8 other players of his team Totenham Hotspurs.

At the Feoffice that morning, a handful of fans had gathered and began chanting pro-Eto’o slogans like ‘ Thanks you a papa Eto’o and more power to your elbows’ 

‘papa, you have given us joy everyday’ papa Eto’o, the man of reconciliation and peace’.

Unfortunately for them, a speacial unit of the police force was sent to call off their party.

Both players spent close to one hour answering questions posed by a 5-man disciplinary council at the FECAFOOT headquarters in Yaoundé.

They had to defend themselves on some key issues like the ‘snubbing of handshake incident for Alex Song and protesting the substitution of Eric Choupo Moting during the game against Senegal in Yaounde, on the part of Eto’o.

The famous article 13 which justifies terms concerning violations on the team.

In a couple of days, the Secretary General of Fecafoot would produce a report on the decisions taken. The would either choose to make it private or public. All many have to do, is just to wait.
